Communal Facilities

Explore the public gardens, parking policies, and local transport connections at Bow Green.

Public Gardens & Bow Park

The newly created Bow Park is a publicly accessible space for all to enjoy. It will open gradually with each of the five phases of the development. These spaces are broadly for the use of residents and are designed for ‘passive recreation’.

Management & Maintenance

The Estate team and landscaping contractors visit regularly to carry out routine maintenance, including grass cutting and pruning. Please do not leave items unattended in these areas for security purposes.

Garden Rules & Etiquette

To ensure everyone enjoys the open spaces at Bow Green, we ask all residents and visitors to observe the following guidelines:

Prohibited Activities

  • Dropping or leaving litter or refuse
  • Interfering with any plants, shrubs or trees
  • Using bicycles, skateboards, or scooters
  • Bathing in water features (except play fountains)
  • Playing loud music or making excessive noise
  • Drinking in the open areas
  • Using barbecues (fire hazard)

Dog Owner Responsibilities

  • Pick up after your dog immediately
  • Place waste in sealed bags in dog bins or general bins
  • Keep dogs under control to protect soil nutrient levels

Car Parking

No Resident Parking

There is no Resident or Visitor parking at Bow Green. Residents are not eligible for local authority parking schemes.

Parking spaces can be leased annually to Blue Badge holders only. These spaces are limited and issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transport & Connectivity

Bow Green is exceptionally well-connected to East London and the City via several nearby hubs.

Underground & DLR

Mile End & Bow Road: Central, District, and Hammersmith & City lines. Bow Church & Devons Road: DLR services North to Stratford and South to Canary Wharf.

Cycling

Numerous routes start around Mile End Station, running West towards the City via Mile End Park and East toward Stratford.

Local Bus Services

  • 323: From Bow Common Lane to Mile End or Canning Town.

Refuse & Recycling

All apartments have access to a communal bin store located on the ground level, accessible through a corridor on the right-hand side after exiting Bower Apartments.

Recycling Guidelines
  • Rinse jars and cans before disposal.
  • Remove labels where possible.
  • Try to buy items with less packaging.
  • Location: Tower Hamlets Re-use & Recycling Centre, Yabsley St, London, E14 9RG.

Waste Disposal

Please ensure that rubbish bags are securely sealed before disposal to help maintain cleanliness within the communal areas.
